Who is Hope Resources?
Hope Resources was formed as a Michigan non profit in 2017 by combining the North Berrien Food Pantry (a mission of the Coloma United Methodist Church) and the Plymouth Congregational Church, food pantry in Watervliet. Both had been in existence for approximately 30 years.
Working with Feeding America and with the support of several other area churches, organizations, businesses and individuals the pantry moved to much larger quarters at 262 N. Main St. in Coloma at the end of 2019. Approximately 3 dozen volunteers give of their time to keep it running.
We provide food to people in need as well as clothing. We are in the process of developing different classes covering nutrition, sewing, and more.
