Hope Resources began in 2017 when two local, Michigan food pantries decided to join forces. North Berrien Food Pantry and the Plymouth Congregational Church had been feeding the hungry for almost 30 years, but they realized they could pool their resources to better serve residents.

 

Years later, Hope Resources renovated the first floor of the Coloma Mason's building with a grant from the Masons of Michigan. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Hope Resources expanded its services to meet the needs of others.

Hope Resources has continued this legacy by serving the people of Coloma, Watervliet, and the Hagar-Riverside School District #6. Our over 3 dozen volunteers have been able to feed, clothe, and educate the community for years. We work with Feeding America, Berrien Community Foundation, local churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals to secure and deliver these goods. We are 100% funded by donations.
